A Fashionable Cause: Help For Haiti

By now we are all aware of the earthquakes that rocked Haiti recently, leaving the small island nation in complete turmoil. Well, fashionistas, here is another way for you all to lend a helping hand.

There are several organizations already in place to lend aid to the people of Haiti. If you are interested in making a direct monetary donation, please go here for more information:

For all of you humanitarians who also happen to be fashionistas, there is more that you can do.

The Fashion Bomb has listed a few designers that are giving a portion of the proceeds from all sales to the Haitian victims. Fashion is often considered a gratuitous or superfluous aspect of our lives. This, however, is fashion for a cause. Here is how you can help:

1) Peace Designs

This jewelry designer is donating money to Wyclefs Yele foundation. She writes:

"I AM SENDING A PERCENTAGE OF ALL SALES THIS WEEK TO WYCLEF'S YELE FOUNDATION FOR EARTHQUAKE RELIEF IN HAITI. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF THIS EFFORT."
